Isabel’s relationships were full of walls, like the thick castle walls in Ávila. She felt far from her daughter and far from God, separated by the walls she’d built around her. When she experienced forgiveness and grace in church, she learned that she could live in freedom, without those thick walls around her.
Ask God to break down the walls around the hearts of those in Ávila, so that they might love and receive love unhindered and in community. May He heal relationships as He draws the people of Ávila toward His heart.
Ephesians 2:14
For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.
