Pray for Cantabria

Cantabria is a small, green region along Spain’s northern coast, known for its cliffs, quiet beaches, and fishing villages. Despite its beauty and devout Catholic heritage, it remains one of the least-reached corners of Spain. With only 8–10 evangelical churches serving the entire region and 10 towns over 5,000 people without a church, the need for Gospel presence is urgent.

Key Prayer Points

Cantabria is a land of tradition and spiritual dryness. As you pray, focus on awakening hearts, planting new churches, and bringing hope to young people. Let’s ask God to shine His light across every village and coastline.

Breaking Spiritual Apathy

Pray for a spiritual awakening in Cantabria, where religiosity exists but personal faith is rare. Ask God to break up the fallow ground and replace apathy with living faith.

New Churches in Every Town

Intercede for the towns with no church, and for Santander’s churches to catch a vision for planting daughter congregations. Pray for workers to be sent into these green fields.

Hope and Light

Pray that Jesus would be the true Light for Cantabrians, especially the youth who face limited opportunities. Ask that those who remain become pioneers of faith in their towns.
