Pray for the Community of Madrid

The Community of Madrid beats at the heart of Spain — a vast urban center of more than six million people, the nation's hub for politics, business, and culture. Since Spain's return to democracy, the evangelical church here has grown steadily, with gatherings of believers scattered across the city and mission agencies rooted in its streets. Yet even with this growth, the vast majority of Madrileños have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel.Let us pray for innovative and bold outreach into every corner of this bustling region — to the business professional rushing between meetings, to the university student searching for meaning, to the families filling the metro each morning. May the Lord raise up open-air preaching, music, art, and apologetics events that capture hearts and open doors for the Gospel to be clearly proclaimed.Father, awaken Madrid. Let the light of Christ break through the noise of the city, and may many who have never heard Your name come to know the hope found only in Jesus.
