Melilla

Serving in the Civil Guard in the border area of Melilla, Manuel realized that everyone was looking for a better life. The whole world is searching for more security, more purpose, more joy, and more opportunities. But as he learned about Jesus, Manuel knew that the world will never satisfy those desires. Only God can fill the emptiness inside us. Pray for the many people who live in and pass through Melilla on their quest for a better life. Pray that they will find not just more physical stability or emotional security, but that they’ll find the truth of Jesus, who alone satisfies our every desire.

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'” (John 14:6)
