There is a lot of confusion among the people of Spain about what is truth and who to believe. The Catholic Church holds tightly to its place of power regarding the “truth”. The surge of sects and false religions creates an environment of uncertainty and unbelief, leaving many people lost and wandering, dying in sin without hope of eternal life.
During the morning prayer time, let’s focus on proclaiming the truth of God over the country of Spain.
Prayer these verses over Spain:
Psalm 29:4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.
1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
Exodus 34:6 “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God.
Psalm 47:8 God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.
Because of the stronghold that the Catholic Church has on the Spanish population, a personal relationship with Christ is not something that has been encouraged or even planted in the mind or heart of the average Spaniard. Both children and adults continue in tradition and rituals that mean little to the majority of people involved. It is known that among the Muslim population, Jesus often chooses to reveal himself through dreams. We have heard of this happening in Spain as well, and we want to ask Jesus to make himself known to the Spaniards as he sees fit!

Read Job 33:14-18
Pray for personal revelations of Christ himself that shows that he truly is the way, truth, and the life.
Spaniards are numb to the reality of a genuine, life-giving relationship with Christ. Spain ranks as the 4th highest country in the European Union for both marijuana and cocaine use. They are blind to their need of salvation and drowning in the temporary pleasures of the world.

Then pray with us for the eyes of all Spaniards to be opened to their need for Jesus. Pray that God would send them to faithful, obedient believers who will teach them to obey all the things Jesus has commanded.
As Scripture tells us, pride leads to the destruction of many hearts and lives. In general, Spaniards live out their pride in notable ways and humility is scoffed at.
During the evening prayer time, let’s pray for a true, deep, real repentance from the spanish people – that they would look at Jesus and instead of seeing a dead man draped across his mother’s lap, they would see the risen Lord, a powerful Savior, an eternal King.
