Rubén sought to fill his all-consuming loneliness with anything he could find, which led him down a path of spiritual darkness and captivity. But as he learned how much God loved him and longed for him, he found the grace to surrender what had imprisoned his mind, body, and spirit and run with joy toward Jesus.
Pray that others in Burgos will experience the unending joy that God offers in contrast to the loneliness and isolation of searching for fulfillment in any other thing. Ask God to fill His people in Burgos with a joy that spills out, like light, and draws many people safely to Him.
