Acts 1:6-8 – Identities, Calling, and Power

Today we lift up believers in Spain, asking God to clarify their identity and calling. God in Heaven, your ways are so much higher than ours. When we are misfocused or overestimate what we need to know, clarify our identities and calling in you, and cause your Holy Spirit to come upon us to live them out. You are our intercessor for this request, Jesus!

Acts 1:6-8 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
